• Melissa manages Ex Fabula's facebook page, and I always appreciate the interesting articles and quotes she posts. It's easy for social media to become just "come to our event" over and over, but she does a great job identifying other content to engage our followers. I work with Melissa as Ex Fabula. She's one of our volunteers, serving on the Marketing/PR committee. She helps lead marketing meetings, implement strategy and write blogs for upcoming events. Ex Fabula is an organization that heavily relies on our (amazing) volunteers to serve as we have limited resources. 

I've found working with Melissa to be a pleasure. She is self-motivated (she manages content on one of our social media platforms). She's also very flexible, will to take on additional tasks as needed. I am still fairly new to organization. Having someone like Melissa to help navigate and be of support is most appreciated.

Melissa worked as a Communication Intern at Kath's House, a hospital guest house in Milwaukee during the 2016-17 school year. Her work focused on two projects - assisting with Gala preparations and implementations and social media. 

The Gala is our largest fund raising effort of the year and Melissa played a key role throughout the preparations, including serving as the lead contact when the organizer was on medical leave. She even attended the event, even though graduation was the next day. 

On social media she assisted with writing and photography for the weekly post schedule as well as identifying technology new the House for scheduling posts on Twitter and Snapchat.

Melissa was an incredible asset to the UWM Planetarium. Not only did she get any work assigned to her completed quickly, she often took it upon herself to do tasks no one else would. Multiple times per week she would also present me with exciting new opportunities for our company that I never even considered. 

On top of this, her quality of work always exceeded expectations. Her attention for detail and pride in her work never let her submit any sub-par assignments. She really was a pleasure to work with and was a coworker I could always rely on.
